Rescued Henley Farms Family Members

Bred at Henley Farms, Only Fabiola was racing and winning at Camarero Race Track in Puerto Rico.  We were concerned for her well-being so we claimed her and brought her home with the help of Caribbean Thoroughbred Aftercare. 

This son of Bellamy Road was rescued at a kill-pen by a Henley Farms family member. Now he is our #1 companion horse. 

Thanks to the kindness of his majority owner, our superstar, Montalcino, is now safely at home and living in our front yard. 

La Palina, the first foal of our Distorted Humor mare, Upstager, was racing and winning in Canada when she suffered a bowed tendon.  We are so grateful that her responsible owner called us.  We sent a trailer and brought her home.  She is now a brood mare here just like her mom. 

This daughter of our late Ghostzapper mare, Pretty Mystic, who died of colic, was offered to us by her owners and trainer.  We jumped at the opportunity to get a part of Pretty Mystic back.  She is home now and will take her mother's place as a brood mare. 

Mac was our very first senior rescue.  He had lived 14 years outside chained to a post.  He is gone now but we will love him forever and always be grateful for all he taught us. 

Oliver was a blind and deaf senior rescue who became  co-owner Roy Barbe's best friend.  He is sorely missed.

Nemo was the sweetest, cuddliest senior rescue. Everyone who came to the farm loved him, as did we - very much. 

He was not quite a senior rescue when we adopted him but today Teddy is 17.  He is our Teddy Bear. 

Meet Handsome Al.  Al had a big heart, a lot of opinions and no teeth. He was frail when we rescued him but we are grateful for every minute we had Al in our family. 

Luna is a puppy mill rescue who went from terrified baby to boss.  She is the Queen of Henley Farms.
